This was our first stay in a hostel, and we were pleasantly surprised. It was definitely more fun than staying in a hotel as long as you have reasonable expectations (its not a hotel!). A great experience - we hope that the next hostel is as nice.

The people here a really friendly. Most of the main attractions are a 20min bus ride a way. I stayed in the newly remodeled rooms which where very clean but where still being finished. It's the first hostle I've every stayed in and hope to find more like it.

I have traveled all over the world and stayed in many hostels but the Adelaide Hostel in San Francisco was simply the best, great staff,very clean,and simply the best kitchen and dining room of all the hostels I stayed in, this is near the best if not the best.
For a person coming to San Francisco on a budget the Adelaide was great,the free breakfast and the free internet alone made it the place to stay.
