The Alice and Wonderland in Rome was great. The second we checked in, the helpful staff gave us a map and not only gave us suggestions of where to go based on how long our stay was, but also recommened us places to eat that were excellent and really cheap! Also, the breakfast provided every morning was delicious. I would recommend this clean and friendly place to stay to anyone!

We can\'t say enough about how wonderful our stay was. Every room of the B&B was beautiful to look at. Breakfast was delightful - cheeses, breads, deli meats, jams, tomatoes, juice, delicious coffee and tea... fantastic! Elke was marvelously helpful when I found I had only booked 4 nights and needed a 5th. She called another B&B and made us a reservation right away. She also let us have breakfast the day that we arrived when we were exhausted from travel. Her advice on places to visit and information on metro closures and bus routes to take were indispensible. We will definitely stay here again. The best value for its price range and wonderful memories.

Great location, facilities and welcome from the owners. Amazing breakfasts with cake!! Just be careful to confirm the facilities that will be provided with your room! I booked \"Alice in Wonderland\" because their ad on hostelworld advertised \"airconditioning\" as an in-room facility. Very unhappy to discover that my room only had a ceiling fan! After speaking with the owner we were able to move room the following night. Apparently not all rooms have the advertised features (e.g. aircon, satellite tv) but this is not made clear when you are booking - and there is no where to specify what you facilties you require.

Staff was very friendly and helpful!!! more of a b&b than a hostel... only complaint was no air conditioning and it was hot when we were there and that made it very hard to sleep

This hostel was a very personal one. Unlike others, the hosts are as friendly as your own friends, parents, or whatever according to your age and taste. The rooms are clean, and it's near a metro station so that you can move around freely. It was one of the best hostels on our trip, although the only problem is that there is only one bathroom. It offers an exellent breakfast, however. Strongly recommended!

The owners were really nice and very helpful and the breakfast that was included was really good. We had a large common area with a terrace and a tv and it was beautiful - also the B&B is on the 5th floor so mosquitoes weren't a problem at night. Really great hostel!!!!

Well, what can you say!!!! Excellent rooms, excellent facilities great location and excellent breakfast. Maxi and Elke provided us with a first rate breif of the sites to visit including all the important things to look for whilst in Rome a map with highlighted notes. We had a great stay - thanks and will be returning in the future.

Elke and Maxi are amazingly hospitable and run a great hostel/B&B. Breakfast is wonderful and free high-speed internet is a nice perk.
