Located in good neighborhood--found some great local resturants with help of staff. Close to subway station. Close to ancient Roman ruins. Shared bathroom especially floor very unclean. Towels and bed linens threadbare and worn. No bar soap provided. Poor general maintanence.--ie ceiling fan in our room very loud, door hardward loose on our door, could be a lovely patio but the patio furniture to sit on is broken. In general, we did not find this to be the 'luxurious boutique bed and breakfast' as advertised on the website. Very helpful staff.

Not keen on the shared shower/toilet. I always seemed to be waiting for other people to finish with it. Staff were friendly with plenty of helpful tips on Rome. I really liked the library of helpful tourist books and maps. Would be nice if credit card was accepted like in most places.

Great personaltouch from proprietor - very knowledgeable about area - best places to visit and less touristy eating places.

The key for our room opened more than one room- not great for security and the owner was never around. Nice accomodation, although we had to wait over an hour for our room to be ready- not what you want to be doing after a long trip.

lovely place but our room was next to the kitchen area & was soooo noisy that having a lay in after a heavy night out in rome was impossible!..

Overall our stay was pleasant. The hotel was in a great location, clean, good security and accessible to internet and sky tv. However, what was advertised on the website in some cases did not hold true, for instance...there is no air conditioning, we had to hunt down toilet rolls, the breakfast included bread, orange juice, no ironing board, and tea, and no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash in the bathroom.Maxi, the manager was very nice when he was around. 5 out of 10

I will forever change the way that I rate hostels after staying at this accomodation. Maxi and Elke are the most amazing hosts you will ever meet, with wonderful suggestions, unlimited help, the best free breakfest you will ever eat, and the most posh rooms. We felt incredibly spoiled and lucky to be there.
