Wonderful breakfast. Good advice from staff on restaurants, sightseeing etc. lovely room, near metro so being a bit away from things isnt too big a hassle

An exelent place to stay. Maxi and Elke gave us great tips on how to cut down on waiting in the que's for the major sights and gave us great resturant tips. Really nice friendly people who helped make our stay in Rome memorable. Thanks

My husband and I did a five city tour of Europe, all hostels. Alice in Wonderland was by far the best. The owners Maxi and Elke were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Maxi gave us an itinerary and a map which we found extremely helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean as well. There was a great breakfast, better than I've had at most hotels, which was really nice. I highly recommend it. I'd go back for sure.
We really loved A in W. Very modern room and one of the best beds I have slept in in Europe. The bathroom was modern and clean. The breakfast was a nice touch, wasn't just coffee and a pastry. The owner's, Elke and Maxi are very personable and will offer advice, maps and some local knowledge. They told us about a very good affordable supper option in Rome which was fabulous, Augusta..ask Elke about it.

Me and my girlfriend enjoyed our 4-day stay at Alice in Wonderland at the new location at Via Appia Nuova 147 very much. We had the room with the private bathroom and were very pleased to use also the kitchen and the fridge. Very good breakfast every morning with lot of food. Just the heating and the sounds from kitchen in the morning were a bit noisey.Elke was waiting each morning in the kitchen until we wake up to make us fresh coffee and tea. Respect!:) Everything was perfect and thanks! m&j
