We only spent our last night in Rome here, but it's a beautiful little place. One of the tidiest hostels we've been to and helpful staff. It seems like there's only 3 or 4 rooms though. Small kitchen and basic breakfast. Only problem we had was that someone ate our food we left in the fridge. However, I would highly recommend it, even if it costs a little extra.

Elka and Maxi were great! I felt like I was staying at someone's private residence and not an impersonal hotel. Next time I'm in Rome I will stay here again.

The host Maxi was very kind and took time to go through the map with us and tell us of all the great places to visit while in Rome.. Breakfast was excellent with a nice selection of pastries and other delicacies. We did however get up for breakfast on Saturday, but there was no breakfast! Nobody to be found, which was dissapointing. I have to say I was a little disappointed with the room as the ensuite was quite shabby and tiny. The communal bathroom that was directly next to out rooom was very noisy but livable. I would take consideration if you are thinking of booking an ensuite!! Otherwise we had a great time in Rome and at the Alice in Wonderland.

Beautiful place and my sister and I loved it. Definitely a fabulous choice for a couple, very private and quiet.

Alice in wounderland is by far the greatest hostel I have ever visited! Maxi and Elke are great hosts. Breakfast was great: eggs, good cheese, coffee, tea, chokolate, frutes you name it. Location is great: the hostel is just 1 min walk from Re Di Roma subway station and is only 10-15 min walk away from Colleseo. Very nice hostel. I really recomend it to everyone who wants to visit Rome.

This isn't a hostel, it's a scam. I booked my reservation online (incl time of arrival). When I showed up, no one was there. I stuck around for 2-hours and no one showed up. They still tried to charge my credit card for the stay. Real nice...
