The staff were absolutely fantastic. While checking in they took the time to explain the area and where to go. The breakfast was also pretty good, worth the wake up for sure. During our vacation we check into three different hostels (London, Paris, and Rome) with this one being the best.

This place had excellent reviews but it fell short both on location and fun. The staff was really good. The biggest problem is his idea of a private bath is a bath in the same apartment.

We are a family with adult children and found Alice in Wonderland to be an ideal choice as a B&B in Rome. The location was perfect for us as parents to sightsee and for our daughters there was good shopping nearby. Hosts Massimo and Elke were knowledgeable and helpful at all times and the breakfasts were excellent. I highly reccommend Alice in Wonderland

Fantastic place - would highly recommend it - we spent 6 nights in Rome and took Maxi's top restaurant tips and were never disappointed. Rooms are lovely, beds very comfortable, shared bathroom never a problem. 10-15 mins walk from the Colosseum and near to some good restaurants too. Would definitely visit again!

Alice in Wonderland is an absolutely amazing place to stay while visiting Rome. Elke and Maxi are truly the most professional and welcoming hosts that make you feel at home while traveling abroad. The only suggestions I have for future travelers would be that if they do not answer the door that is listed as Alice in Wonderland, knock on the door just to the right that does not have a hostel label. That is where the owners live and can most likely be found! Ciao!
My friend and I absolutely loved this adorable B&B. Very nice owners, cute dogs, very comfortable rooms with SkyTV, and all around great place. I definitely plan on returning in the future.
