Bad hostel - they didn't give me a room key so I had to knock on the door for people to let me in, or leave a shoe stuck in the door.

it's not so comfortable to have just one key for the room. there was no soap in the toilettes to wash the hands and the water in the shower wasn't really warm enough.

Clean enough and safe enough. People are very friendly. They do speak English a lot better than I speak French. I would stay there again.

Although the hostel was kind of far away by foot from the major attractions of Paris, it was close to a metro. The breakfast was good and the hostel was clean.
