The staffs were so kind and our room and the bathroom was so clean!

It's a basic place but offers everything you need for a visit to New York. The kitchen area can be great for meeting loads of other travellers and the location is a good starting point for almost anything you'd want to see...

Excelent breakfast, typical family-like hostel ambient. The building is quite old and not very well conserved, but it's a great option

Just to explain my "poor" rating for the cleanliness - the hostel is more run down and shabby, peeling paint etc than actually dirty - I gave it a poor rating because I got bitten to pieces here, and ended up with a nice red, swollen face - I couldn't swear that it was bedbugs, it might have been me having an allergic reaction to something, but I have my suspicions... Also, just to warn anyone staying in the week that there is a big noisy building site out the back.
Fantastic breakfast to make yourself in the morning, just like home. Great place to meet and talk to people in the morning. Lots of friendly Swedes.

The website says you have a bathroom of your own if you book a four bed room. You don't, you've got to share with another four bed room. But we got a discount so we are ok with it after all.

Very expensive for type of accommodation. Also very hard to find.

Very good value for the money, great location and bathrooms and showers were clean, even though they were shared.
