It is a hostel all about. Nothing more, nothing less. Lou is great, verry friendly and helpful. The rooms a simple but clean. The breakfast is jummy. It is a nice stay.

The staff was great, especially Mr. Lou. The cockroaches were there, but so is it in all of new york. Being able to go in and out as we liked was great. The included breakfast was really of a big variety.

We enjoyed our stay in the hostel but the building itself is in need of some repairs. The heavy rains made it very apparent that the roof needs renovating. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

HI,I went to the hostel alone,that was my first time in a hostel.I share the dorm with other 3 gerls who did not them before and we got quickly friends, had lot fun together and enjoyed new york.There is a rich breakfast!
Ok, You must adapt to this kind of plase, of course, but it is cheap solution to stay in new york.
I would come back in this hostel...it is better that it looks like.

They charged my VISA card twice, drug addicts lived in the building, it was next door to a contrsuction zone, the windo was broken and covered with wood. Otherwise it was fantastic.

I really liked staying at American Dream Hostel. Really nice place, walking distance to Empire State Building. We walked alot everywhere at Manhattan, and it felt like hostel was in the center of everything.
Nice Staff and friendly atmosphere. I really recommend staying here!
