really steep stairs but most dutch steps are like that. close to main attractions but there kitchen and common area were a bit small

Bit lame really, staff were proper miserabe and a bit unhelpfull. didnt bother having breakfast there as it seemed to consist of various pieces of stale bread and some rank looking juice, and you had to eat in what was basically the landing of the house. room was ok though and clean enough. if you just need a bed to sleep in then this is the place for you but if you want some character go almost anywhere else!

maybe just to stay one night...also ..they don't offer your own locker so its a risk to left yours things in the room because its a shared room

I only stayed there one night, but it was great, especially to be welcome in such a friendly manner, thank you Amigo's staff.
Good location, in a quieter part of town but still close to everything. Very close to a bike rental place (MacBikes). It is a hostel, no doubt about it, but it's really good and there's lots of fun people.

Expensive for what you get, but that seems to be the case for most places in Amsterdam. It was safe and a bit out of the way, but still easy to get around to anything you want to see.

The Hostel is located a bit far from all the mail ivents, but its not too far. this hostel is NOT in the center! its 5-10 min walk to "Rembrant plein" , and a long walk to the Dum. other then that, if u dont mind the distance, its a verry nice and not expenssive place to stay for a few days. we took a 4 man dorm and it was grate.
Great Location, Really helpful front desk staff. I am going back there shortly.
