A small, cosy hostel. Staff are generally helpful and friendly. Location is excellent. The stairs are amusing after a few beers. Simba the cat adds a cool touch to make you feel at home there. I will definately stay there again

Loved Hostel Cosmos. Maybe not the biggest hostel around but it was still very cool! The location couldn't be better and the staff was really friendly. The cat was cool!

One night a member of staff thought it was a joke to tell me my bed had been sold and to go away, at 1am. There was no sense of community at the hostel. It was just a place to sleep. I stayed there for three nights and met nobody, because they were either asleep, or out. The 'lounge' was tiny. Nobody wanted to hang around there.

the shower sucked, but other than that pretty good. it was close to the train station and across from a coffeshop... the staff gave us free munchies.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but from the reviews this seemed like a popular hostel. My experience was good and the staff were really friendly. They ended up letting me stay for a few more hours longer on my last day as my flight was quite late. Thanks guys.

A realy awkward building! Narrow places but its Amsterdam and its was pretty cultural. Nice staff and rooms, not a bad place to stay.
