they got overbooked so our room was crowded and small. not the cleanest, but not too bad for amsterdam. within walking distance of the train station, red light, etc. breakfast of bread and jams and nutella

Great place, you all are great but for breakfast get a toaster, then breakfast would be much much better for say 10-20 euro price of a toaster. Also get the espresso machine fixed.

Cosmos is a great place to stay if you prefer a small place with helpful staff and just somewhere to chill while baked. Just watch for the cat, Simba, she is easy to mistake for a cushion...

Cosy little place just off to the side of the red light district. Tiny little common area but it has a bit of character and the staff are very helpful and friendly and the rooms are fine.

Good Location, but security lockers sucked. You had to kick the door to get it open, usually waking everyone up in the room.
Me gusto mucho la atención de los funcionarios del Hostal, tener desayuno por la mañana, buenas habitaciones con calefacción y seguridad para guardar la mochila pero sobre todo la ubicación que es fantástica... (Mejor imposible) Lo recomiendo...
It's not made clear on the website that this is a strictly NO SMOKING hostel. Had I known this I would've booked alternative accomodation.

Very neglected -shame because it is a great location. Staff really can't be arsed to be there. Very little character in what could be a great little hostel. OK overall, but nothing to get excited about.
