The Avalon House is a superb hostel located quite near the Temple Bar area of Dublin. My room was spotlessly clean. There are great common areas with comfortable chairs to sit, read, watch TV, etc. The Avalon House is one of the best hostels I have stayed in. I would certainly stay here again.

Nosotras ocupamos una habitación de 4 camas, nuestra opinion es que la habitacion era demasido pequeña para poder alojar a 4 personas con cuatro maletas, realmente cuando una necesitaba abrir la maleta las demas teniamos que esperar en la cama pues no era posible el movimiento por la habitación. Por otro lado no estaria mal tener algun espacio para la colocacion de objetos personales (por ejemplo la bolsa de aseo...) y las maletas.

Bathrooms were always clean - very nice. But think about getting the floor carpets in the corridors cleaned - they smell oddly...
staff was really great and helpful. free internet was amazing! overall, a positive hostel experience and would recommend avalon house to friends!

Great hostel! I've stayed in some crap places in Europe and this is NOT one of them. The best location, short walk from everything. Bathrooms were very well kept. Beds not bad. Key card access for all of the rooms. Free breakfast too! Would come back!

Great location, great lounge areas with gorgeous leather couches and free internet; almost feels like relaxing at home.

The hotel was very noisy because you could hear everything from outside. The lobby was tacky.
