I´d could be a really good place if they would do all the paintings and stuff allover again.It´s a nice house but it needs a bit of fixing otherwise very good.

Nice place, nice location, nice staff. 4 bed dorms are quite small. Cleaning of the bathroom facilities could have been better as there was a thick cover of old dust in the window frame and on the radiator. Not on my top 10 list of the best hostels I've stayed in, but still worth the money.

I could not dream properly because of the the noise in the rest of the rooms. Ib heave to pay a panalty of 75 euro for smoking inside the room, and just that night there were people smoking in the bathroom an dirinking beer, I tried to explain this to the staff but she did not attent to me an said me if I did not paid the penalty I had to leave the hostel inmidiatly. I repeat I smoked in my room becuse I could not sleep because of the noise and I was alone in the room. I did not like the treatment that you geve me. I think you were injust with me

I enjoyed my stay very much...If I could only remember my first night in Dublin...it was such a blur. Thank you to everyone at the Avalon for making my stay so comfortable.
