Had a great time at Avalon and in Ireland. Beware, to the light sleeper: Avalon House, despite signs posted saying the opposite, is extremely loud until very early in the morning!! Also, visitors are allowed to sit on the street out front and make huge amounts of noise all night. Other than that... the hostel is very accomidating.

Good place to stay. Right by almost everything and the farthest walk was 15 minutes to the Guiness Storehouse. Would def stay here again. Great funny staff that make you feel like home!

i had a great time staying in dublin's avalon house! the rooms were well set up, the showers high pressure, and the common rooms a lot of fun to hang out in. also, the luggage cage was a great deal at just €1 a day, and easily fit all my stuff! thanks a lot for a great holiday!

Really enjoyed my stay. First hostel experience and a positive one. Would definetely recommend to anyone staying in Europe. Very close to lots of things, especially St. Patrick's Cathedral.

This is a nice but busy hostel. Got a great kitchen and plenty of common room areas. Also the luggage cages are a great feature and I wish more hostels had them!! Right on bus route and close to lots of great stuff!
