Great place to stay! Perfect for anyone who needs a comfortable place to stay and keep their things while exploring Dublin. I would recommend it to anyone, and I plan on going back soon.

I was homesick for this place after living there for only five days- the community it creates with its wonderful and expansive lounge and kitchen areas are unparalleled, and the rooms and beds are comfortable. Furthermore, the location is wonderful! I would return to Dublin to visit the Avalon House, not the other way around!

These guys are great. very good atmosphere. People from all over the world and all very friendly. I even left my stuff unlocked for the few days I've been there, which is pushing fate, but I had absolutely no problems. Best Place in Dublin to stay!!

I have been traveling for a long long time now, and have done a couple europe trips, so have stayed in many hostels. this one is definately in my top 3 and have recommended it to a lot of my friends who are traveling to dublin. my favorite things were the super friendly staff and the good breakfast!

The Avalon House has a great reputation and it proved it to me during my 2 night stay in Dublin. Finally a hostel that provides large lockers for security reasons! Also, a friend was hoping to travel with me but cancelled at the very last moment. The staff were understanding of the situation and only charged myself for the two nights. It really helped when I was on a budget. And though it was just random luck, I got placed with 4 other really cool room mates who helped make Ireland a memorable trip. Definintely coming back when I return to Ireland.
