We really enjoyed our stay here.
The kitchen facilities were nice, there was plenty of room in the refrigerators to store your items and people were very respectful of what belonged to who. However some of the eyes on the stove were in poor working condition and could use some updating.
Also, watch out for high school groups who get in and take EVERY plate in sight! When you go to cook, grab your flatware immediately or you may find there is none.
Showers were good and hot.

Excellent location about 5 minutes walk to Temple Bar, with a couple of good drinking stops on the way. Security is good there need a card to get in anywhere. Room has everything you need. I'd stay there again

The best of the hostel is the situation. The worst, the dormitories are really small, and i had to share the bathrooom with other 6 dormitories. It could be very much better.

Late night check-in, 24 hour reception, friendly staff, spacious room, reasonably clean bathrooms, nice breakfast - that's the characteristics of Avalon House. Close to city center, main city attractions within walking distance
Take your own padlock - won't need to pay deposit :)

the staff are sitting only behind there computers, not very friendly. But they help us to get a taxi back to airport - that was the only good thing.
Lokation is top. Rooms are not very clean (Windows/floor) Beds and bathrooms are OK.
We are a group of 9 Personons.
