Rooms are very small and there was only one bathroom in our floor.

Everything but the single ensuite room was great. Room was body length long by half body length wide. Staff was great especially Steve during the day and John at night. Would stay here again

When travelling, the first thing you would like to when you get in your room is feel confortable. Unfortunately it was not the case. The shower curtain needed a major clean up. The floor was sticky and the walls were not clean at all. Another pain was the fact that it was not quiet at all. The two nights we stayed there, a group of people was drinking, shouting and yelling up until early in the morning. Right on the sidewalk under our room window. Travellers are not allowed to drink alcohol in the hostel but if they do it just besides the hostel, the damage for the majority of the travellers is the same.

We´ve had a good time in Avalon House. Everything is excellent, but our room is too small for four people and the carpet was very dirty when we arrived, the bathroom was clean. Your staff is very helpful and friendly.

I had a GREAT time while staying at the Avalon House with my best friend. The staff is so helpful, the environment is perfect for meeting people and going out to the pubs with these new friends. Thanks for everything!!

I enjoyed my stay, but the people that were there from France were REALLY loud, and really inconsiderate, and were constantly making unnecessary comments...Other than them it was a great stay. Cheers for that!

Nice hostel. Excellent location. Rooms were a bit too small (4bed dorms)
All of the staff were really helpful and told us all the good places to check out! Our room was really nice but it was a little loud.
