We were very pleased with our time here.Walking directions to the hostel were excellent but could be altered to avoid taking luggage up and over the Rialto.Tragic-looking entrance!!Also maybe a map could be supplied (didn't see any at the hostel) as we had to locate the tourist office. Sleeping areas were a good size.Breakfast minimal though.

A very nice hostel, alot of mosquitos but otherwise really nice. The main guy speaks very good english but not the rest of the staff. Free breakfast was good and they gave me free booze

We got the wrong type of room despite booking ahead - double with bathroom rather than two beds and no bathroom. The light fixture was not working and the corridoor is too dark most of the time.

it was very difficult to find as there is only a very small sign on the front door.

The kitchen area (which doesn't allow the use of fridge or really anything else) was constantly flooding for some unknown reason. Excellent location - very near the Rialto bridge and all other important sights. Bedrooms were comfy and clean. Great for Venice if you are going with friends.

The best thing about this hostel: location. You're right in the Rialto area and near a water bus stop. The staff is just this dude who hands you the keys and shows you the room, he doesn't have any information or stuff like that. Not all of the rooms are in the same building, so we were in a dorm down the street and around the corner. I know there was a common room and kitchen in the main building, but I didn't spend any time in them, so I can't comment on them. There isn't any luggage storage, and there aren't any lockers, but the room still felt pretty secure. The bathroom was really clean, as were the linens.

I was a fan of the location, but the staff was not very helpful on where to go and what to do. We basically had to figure things out on our own without help. The showers were something of a pain as well. There was one bathroom for three rooms of 5 people!

The place had an excelent location, the staff was friendly and it was very nice and clean. On the down side, there was breakfast: only a croissant and a juice in the restaurant next door, and you had to get out of the room between 9:30 and 2 o'clock. I liked the place very much, and specially recommend it (for girls traveling alone, groups, etc.)
