Hostel is in an old building with lots of character and right by the Rialto Market, which is fantastic. very centrally located, and highly recommended. Quiet and not a lot of interaction with other people staying at the hostel in my experience, but that was what I was looking for so that was ok by me.

If you are worried about the outside of the building, forget it. The place is very nice and it worths.

This was a good hostel, nothing fancy but had everything you would expect in a hostel. It was difficult to meet people, and the breakfast was simple, but otherwise it was great. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Sorry I've taken so long to respond - Had a WONDERFUL time @ B&B Rota and will be recommending it to all who travel to Venice - and will DEFINATELY be staying there when I return :)
The building is absolutely wonderful, in a lovely street close enough to Rialto to make it very easy to find but without all the tourists. Everyone we talked to was very pleasant and made us feel welcome. We would certainly recommend the hostel and would love to come again!
