From the outside this hostel looks as if it may be dissapointing, but once inside you will find it to be exactly what is required, considering it is so cheap. You cannot beat the location, and having coffee and a pastry provided in the cafe below is just a bonus. My room was warm, and ensuite bathroom was basic but seemed luxurious compared to other hostels I have stayed in. Definitely recommend this place if for the location alone - so central!

the place is right in the heart of rialto, so its ideal for backpackers. being right next to a grand canal bridge also allows easy access to different parts of the city. ( san polo and san marco )

fantastic location near rialto bridge and lots of shops, stalls, room clean, warm and roomy, breakfast typical italian coffee/cake standing at bar which is great

We were pleasantly surprised by B&B Rota. The location was excellent and the rooms were clean and homey. Accomodation in Venice can be extremely expensive, so our apartment was great value. I would return there again!
