absolutely great. atmosphere in the common room lets you meets many people and have good times at evenings in the hostel as there is not much to do in kyoto regarding nightlife

A great hostel - bordering on a hotel. Really clean and tidy even though it was so busy all the time. Great communial areas. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The bar attached is really nice - definately try the plum wine!!! Location was brilliant, just a 10 minute walk from the train and bus station. Would stay here again for sure.

Good hostel. Felt it was missing a little on character though, seemed like your standard big city hostel. Can\'t fault the facilities, staff (very friendly and helpful) and location though.
