Very good hostel, does exactly what it says on the tin. Very clean, excellent rooms and great bar, internet facilities etc. Close to Kyoto Station (about 5/10 minute walk) and very easy to find. Staff are very helpful, all you could want from a hostel.

some Staff are totally sucks....I arrived at 8:00am with so many luggages, and their counter open for 8:30. There was a staff there but he just ignore me and didnt let me to check in/sign in! He just do his stuffs and said to me that I need to wait untill 8:30! Internet had to pay, but after I paid I found that the one I used have some problem, which wasted my money. If you expect to chat with the staff and make fds with the staff, dont go to this one. They just ignore u. I feel so uncomfortable. The only good is clean

Purpose built hostel, fantastic bathrooms, good rec area, cheap washing, too many seppos/elderly.
It's very clean and all the staffs were so nice and give you good direction to wherever you go

My husband and myself are pleasantly surprised that the hostel is so clean and well maintained. In addition, fellow hostelites have been cooperative to keep the noise level down. However, the only drawback is that there is always a queue for the internet. Perhaps some restrictions could be imposed on the maximum time allowed for each user?
