Very disappointed in Bahaus Hostel. They overbook and do not honor reservations despite taking deposits. Also my wife (and another female guest sharing our room) had problems with staff entering the room to linger for no apparent reason.

Great location and character. If you hire their airport shuttle service, though, make sure you're on time as they don't make a list and won't look for you!

There is no air conditioning and the rooms are small, It would be better to have breakfast on the roof bar but this is closed in the morning

Staff was wonderful. Except the girl who makes breakfast - not very happy. Place was a great location and they will offer great advise or directions. Will stay again - if ever in Istanbul - if they get air con!
