This was a squeaky clean hostel, with a no shoe policy to make it so. Jeff is a really nice guy. I wish I could have stayed one more day!

The Hostel is absolutely fantastic. It's absolutely clean and as soon as you get in you fell homelike. The staff is great and you can allways ask for anything or just have a little chat. The location is good and you have free rides on the island for many locations like the beach, different lakes or hiking trails.

This was the cleanest Hostel I have ever stayed in. It is perfectly located!! I always felt secure and I had a blast with fellow travelers I met here too! This hostels is 100% recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the best run hostel I've found, ever. I've stayed in others in this country and in europe, and although some were more attractive from the outside, none had the friendliness, warmth, cleanliness, real convenience, and organization to compare with Nova's Bar Harbor Hostel. This was my second stay.

I felt so welcomed, even though we got in 1.5 hours after check in! Thank you very much. I also felt very safe, even compared to more "professional" hostels--this one was fantastic.

Nova ended up taking up a bunch of our time because she was so easy to talk to. The hostel was basically deserted because of the time of the year so we had it to ourselves. The location was great for walking into the city and also getting to the park. Will definitely try to stay there again the next time I'm out there.
