We LOVE LOVE LOVED staying at Barcelona Mar. It was great. The staff was fantastic and the walking tours and pub crawls are worth every penny. WE met so many great people there. I reccomend Barcelona Mar to anyone going to Barcelona!!!

L'auberge était très sympa. C'était un peu spécial pour nous car nous étions dans une sorte de "colloc" dans un appart. L'entretien des parties communes se fait par les locataires des lieux et tout le monde n'était pas forcément propre. De plus certains voyageurs sont très bruyants. Pour que tout soit vraiment nickel, il faut se respecter.
En ce qui concerne la chambre, nous avions dù dormir la porte ouverte. IL n'y avait aucun système d'aération dans une petite chambre sans fenêtre. Pas terrible.
Mais le fait d'être en appart était très sympa, nous pouvions faire notre cuisine, nous étions bien tranquille.

We spent a really nice stay at Mar Hostel
Music in the corrs, really nice staff,nice breakfast, the rooms are really nice (it is as is if you add your private space because there are curtains)
I loved the "crawl bar":it's a stuff organized by the hostels : you go from bar to bar in Barcelona with people from the hostel, it was a really great party!
One bad point:the location is not really secured,i was quite afraid when i came back from party...
Anyway, i really ENJOY mar hostel!!!

It was a sweet place to stay. The walk up the stairs to the fifth floor was painful time and time again, but who am I to complain really, Superb job all round!

Great place. Friendly. Somewhat private beds. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy, but not too bad. Definitely do the pub crawl...

The stay was very good. Only one regret : we cant' pay with mastercard without paying reallly more (7%!) It is not normal at all.
