this was the best hostel i ever stayed at.
its clean, the staff is great and encouraged.
the internet is free.
the breakfast is normal for a hostel - nothing special, but ok.
we had great roommates.
the lockers in the room are big and secure, what i liked very much.
theres no tv.
the five day stay was the best i ever had :)

the announced "fully equipped" kitchen lacks nearly everything you need for proper cooking.
the rooms are very tiny and you won't have a lot of space.
quite loud in here.

The Hostel is well situated. The Metro station Parallel is only a few metres away and the Ramblas is within walking distance.
The breakfast is simple, but its enough. Unfortunately the showers were cold on our floor, but despite that we liked it a lot. Good value for money!!

bad points:
-its in a bit of a sketchy area.
-the walls arent soundproof so you can hear people who are talking in the halls.
good points:
-The staff is very helpful. Ivi helped me understand the layout of the city on a map with all the different sites. Also proposed activities (you should do the cooking class!:))
-The place was always clean
-Although in a shady/very immigrant place, it is close to the Barceloneta beach and just a few min away from the main street "La Rambla".
-Internet is free and is pretty fast.
Overall it's an excellent place if you are used to hostels. If you're like me, you'll prob opt for a hotel next time though! :)

The hostel was great but we had a problem at the check in. I think it was a problem with hostels.com because our booking wasn't recorded to the hostel we've choose.
Hopefully our booking has been recorded in a hostel next to the one we choose, if it hasn't it would be very anoying.
In conclusion, we've enjoyed the hostel but we can blame hostels.com fot the booking problem.
