Had a great time. Thanks for everything. The early morning loud cleaning noises from outside were bad but other than that a great stay. Thanks again.

What a GREAT hostel! I wish I could have stayed longer - it's in a wonderful location right in the middle of Temple bar, not far from the river Liffey and O'Connell Bridge. I felt secure and clean - even in a mixed dorm. The condition of the place is remarkable and the kitchen and dining area is also quite nice! Loved it and I will definitely try to come back!! I'd recommend it to anyone!

Very clean and felt very secure. Rooms are well heated and they give you warm sheets if you are traveling in the winter.

Hi there! Thanks, I really enjoyed my stay at Barnacles! The staff were FANTASTIC! So happy, friendly and helpful! The breakkie certanly cut down costs, and the kitchen and living area were probably the cleanest and most user-friendly I have encountered in hostel acommodation! The only suggestion I would have to offer, is, while the ensuite bathroom idea is a great one! 1 bathroom and toilet (in the one room! (for 10 girls)) was a little insufficient. Perhaps even providing a communal W.C or two, near the common area or kitchen would improve this, but again, just a suggestion. Had a blast! Thanks so much! Anne

I've been in 4 different hostels for the past 4 days in Dublin and Barnacles was by far the best... bathrooms could've been a little cleaner or less squatty... and I still wish there were individual security lockers and actual FREE internet access... but other than that the experience was GREAT
