The hostal is very well located but it was absolutely not clean. First I received a dirty bed, after 2 nights my body was covered with insect bites (probably flees). The staff did not really care, just paid the money for the medicaments.

Great location. Nice rooms and showers. The breakfast was only average.

I have stayed here before, and was extremely happy with the hostel. Hence why I stayed there again. but this time the staff were rude, for "24hr reception" , I had to wait 15mins to be let into the hostel as there was no one at reception. Staff were rude and unhelpful, and it always seemed to be a hassle for them to answer questions. Not to happy with my stay this time. Location was the only thing that the hostel had going for it this time around.

Ok, this hostel is very clean and comfortable..The location is in the center of temple bar.....My only gripes are...they wont let you check in until 3 pm no exceptions!!!! In the shared 10 bed rooms there is only one toilet and one shower and they are in the same little room....No hot water problem at all though...The staff were assholes...I mean hello you work at a hostel, your no hollywood superstar...Cause that is how they treat you, like you are bothering them...You have to pay for internet as usual...And good luck trying to find a outlet to charge your stuff....I mean if they flipping fired the a holes in the front, I would give this place a 9 across the board.....I will say the one girl who is american was the friendliest, go figure.....

The directions given on the website were incorrect, and the rooms are extremely tiny.

Location was great -- easy to get everywhere, either on foot, or by bus (most of the buses leave near TCD, which is only a short walk away). The rooms were nice, but the rented towels were kind of gross.

After I'd been in Europe for a good three and a half months I decided to wrap it all up with a one night jaunt in Dublin. All my life I've had a romantic fascination with Ireland. Temple Bar helped me not only realize this romanticism, but demanded that it be spread to everyone I meet. The front desk help were amazingly helpful with finding eating (cheap) options as well as providing a bit of knowledge on the night life. The rooms were great for meeting people, and I only found each minute spent in those chambers another that I can count as truly lived. STAY underlined a thousand times at this hostel.
