Thought the staff at the front desk could have worn a smile on their face. Other than that it was a nice place to stay in.

No Drinks. Caffee doesn't belong to the hostel. Pudong Area is ok. Near the subway station, but the sights are on the other side. Beds were hard not everyone had a matress. In the top level no western toilets. Very clean!

pretty nice private room with good bathroom. the loft rooms are a bit hot because the bed is located upstairs not next to the ac unit but other than that great room for price!

Even though it's in Pudong the location is pretty good (a couple of minutes walk to metro line 2 which takes you to the city centre), rooms are great (we had a douple room with private bath, which was huge, had nice furniture and was cleaned every day). Staff are not particularly helpful, though. If you are looking for party, this is not the place to go, but apart from that I would recommend this place to anyone who is interested in a nice, clean, near city-centre accomodation. Excellent value f

very convenient location literally 3 minutes from a metro station, convenience stores and street vendors for food, couple restaurants and bars close by, nice furniture, tv and stuff in the room

It was absolutely a wonderful stay. I saw an idiot made comment about the location (without staying at that hostel by the way); it is 2 stations away from the center and the station is 3 min walk from the hostel. If you are so dumb that you cannot even go 2 stops to People's Square, don't go to Shanghai nor China, you'll get lost.
Anyway, it is true that there is nothing fun to do in the hostel no bar, a very small common room but it is incredibly safe, comfortable, quiet and lovely. The stu

The hostel has a great environment and excellent location, and our breakfasts/coffee were quite good. The major problem we ran into was that on the hostels.com web site it said breakfast was included in the price, but when we got there the manager said it was not included. Instead of offering us a simple breakfast, we ended up having a rather unpleasant confrontation. In the end he ended up giving us some money to compensate for the error.

The room was clean and equipped with bathroom and hot water.
It was much better than I expected. But one thing I could not stand was the bed!! It was rock hard!!
Be careful!!

This place is in Pudong (the new bit with the tallest skyscrapers). It's really cute and the rooms are brand new and decked out in Ikea stuff. There's a restaurant too if you need food quickly. Only down side is it's location. It's not difficult to get to at all but Pudong is a brand new district and the wide open avenues are a bit sparse of people....strangely quiet some times. Host is ace though and in a nice little residential area which is very chilled.
