Very friendly staff and clean rooms/showers. Also a large common room. No airconditioning in the hostel so can be quite hot.

Pleasant visit up until checkout. Young man at desk was rather detached and very impersonal.

Good place to stay in Bosotn. Close to subway and nice Coley Square and in a very safe neighbourhood with plenty of resturants and pubs. The showers could be cleaner.

My room was very neat and clean but the Hallways on the 2nd floor smelled horrible. They really need to change the carpets.

Old women living in it (Y wasnt for Young??), bad odor, very hot rooms....i know i did not pay 40 euros for a 5 stars luxury but i find that the previous reviews of this place are a little bit exgareted!

I really enjoyed my stay at the YWCA. Everybody was exceptionally friendly. The bathrooms were clean, the rooms were in pristine condition and the breakfast was excellent. I will stay the the YWCA again. One thing I noticed when I was using the Internet was it locked up a few times (I was searching on a page and hit Ctrl F and the screen froze (I am from a computer background so I rebooted the machine) but it may cause problems for other people - you should look into this. Aside from this, everything was excellent. Thanks Conor

For anyone wanting a fun and friendly youth hostel stay in Boston I would definateley NOT recommend YWCA. Although single rooms are provided, they are very much needed as many resident guests appear to me better suited to an institution! Breakfast felt like a scene from "one flew over the cuckoos nest"!!!!
