This hostel is highly recommended to stay. Is a nice cosy place. 1 sad thing is they don't allow overnight holding of bags if you're planning to leave for a day or two.

Great location and easy access to subway. Great breakfast each morning. If I were to stay again, I would be sure and ask for a non-smoking floor! Towels, washcloth & soap were x-tra!

This place is good because of location really. It is very basic but comes with a good breakfast! It is old school compared to some hostels I have been to but I stayed here by myself and felt safe and that's the main thing.
I really enjoyed my brief stay and if I am ever in Boston again I will stay again. thanks

Good location, clean rooms, nice lobby... Staying in Berkeley Residence was a very good experience.
This place was very safe and clean. The staff was friendly. However, the Web site says there is parking. There is not. There are a few metered spaces blocks away. Those spots are very difficult to get and parking garages are expensive. I wouldn't advise this location for anyone who is traveling by car.

I think our stay there was great, i enjoyed talking to some of the permanent residents. Thanks for the great breakfasts. I had my teenage daughter with me and she too enjoyed the stay. It was within easy walking distance of just about everything and the staff was very helpful giving directions. We would definitly stay again. We did this in Europe and this was another great experience.
