We felt totally at home at Blue Hostel. We had a private room and it was like having our own appartment in Rome. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this hostel.

One of the best parts about our time in Rome was staying at Blue Hostel. We were met at the train station and walked to the hotel, which I'm sure we could have found on our own since it was in a great area, but it was so much nicer not to have to worry about it. We were supposed to check in at 11 AM but were delayed when my husband got sick. We called the hostel and they were more than happy to meet us whenever we got into Rome. The hostel was on the 4th floor of a locked building, so it was very safe, and there are only 4 or 5 rooms so it's very quiet. You should be prepared to walk up 4 flights of stairs, so pack accordingly. The room and the bathroom were very nice and much larger than I thought it would be. We didn't have all of our cash with us and they were very agreeable about letting us pay the next day after we had gone to a bank atm. The staff member who checked us in also gave us a map and recommended some places to eat, he was very friendly and helpful with any information we needed. We felt very safe walking home every night and staying at Blue Hostel. We never even saw any of the other guests, although we think we heard someone snoring one night. Overall is was a great experience and we would definitely stay there again!
