Great location, very near subway and JR line. 3 PCs for 24-hour free internet. Japanese style public bath, or if you are shy, there is 24-hour shower room (one for men and one for women). 700-yen meal coupon for a nearby restaurant on sale, highly recommend! Staff are very nice and helpful too..

This is more accurately a business hotel than a youth hostel. However, its cheap price, convenient location, big room and cleaniness makes it a pleasant place to stay in Osaka.

Generally, a good spot for a few nights in Osaka. The staff were very helpful and always friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was a bit of an inconvenience having to go to the ground floor to use but always were available when needed. Common kitchen, bathroom on each floor needed a good clean but really good value for the price of a single room.

As many people have said, the hotel IS close to the train tracks. I can see how that might bother some people, but I honestly had no problem sleeping due to the train. Having the station so close was EXTREMELY convenient. And the location was within easy walking distance of plenty of attractions. The staff aren't very interactive if you don't speak with them first, but that's hardly a negative thing. If you DO talk with them (though it's more easily done in Japanese) they're definitely easy to t

This place is a real bargain! It's in a very convenient location and has lots of little perks; free internet and video library in the lobby, and a free hot bath. Each room has a TV/VCR, towels, dressing robe, toothbrush, and a clean, comfy bed. The building itself is old and kind of shabby, but it's clean, comfortable and cheap. Can't beat that for $22 a night!

Not much to recommend this place. Noisy, both from thin walls and being right next to rail tracks. Also about 8 floors of rooms with only one shower each in the entire hotel for men and women; advertised as a 24 hour shower, mainly because the only time there isn't a queue for it is about 3 in the morning.

A very nice hostel worth the price. Almost the whole staff was very helpful and nice. Sometimes we had a couple of communications problems due to the lack of english speakers, but as an overall, very nice.

I stayed at chuo new annex from 12/27 - 1/1 and it was great. The rooms were small but cozy. The staff was extremely friendly and could speak english and korean. The only gripe is they only have one 24 hour shower room which is a pain if someone has to use it. Also, there is no hot water on the sinks if you use the public toilets. Other than that the place was amazing. Extremely close to the station which is on the JR osaka loop line as well as the midosuji (i think that`s what it was) subway li
