This is one of the best places we have ever stayed. The staff are great! The garden is fab and all the rooms are clean and you feel really comfortable. No loud party music, just a really decent hostel very close to everything. I would say, this is the best place we have stayed in Peru!

The courtyard provides a nice break from the noise of the city. Very secure, but you won´t meet anyone though.

We stayed in Casa de Vila for 2 nights and found it a really nice comfortable, relaxing hostel with great staff! The hostel helped us book our tour of Colca Canyon. Would highly recommend for a stay. Special thanks to Raquel for a great time and looking after us so well :o)

Casa de Avila is possibly the best place I´ve stayed in South America so far. The staff are outstanding. So friendly and helpful. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The central courtyard is a treat. I extended my stay here to lap in luxury while I could for such good value. And go on the canyon tour. It was fabulous and also good value.

Great Hostel, very friendly and helpful staff who organised buses and tours. Rooms are clean and look out onto the courtyard. Perfect place for a few lazy days after trekking in the Colca Canyon. Highly recommended.

Ask for a room on the second floor, they are newer and have bigger bathrooms and TV´s. The staff was helpful, they stored our luggage while trekking in the Colca canyon. The courtyard was very pleasant and a relaxing place to stay in the busy city.

Very helpful staff, excellent rooms. We stored our luggage here while we went trekking in the canyon. A good few minutes walk from the town centre, but would definately recommend this hostel.
