I loved your hostel! It was clean and bright, and the staff were excellent. I will recommend your place to all interested parties! jz

This used to be an excellent hostel. Have stayed here many times over a ten year period. Last year noticed some serious deterioration but this year it is the pits. The showers were filthy with no toilet paper. The kitchen was a disaster-filthy, unkempt and with very few utensils. There were no lockers available so I had to carry my laptop and valuables with me at all times even to the bathroom. The staff while overtly friendly did not know what was going on and didn't seem to care very much. The

The neighborhood is awesome!!! Very clean, safe and just a few minutes walk from the beach! The train station is only two blocks away and can take you anywhere in town. The hostel however is not so great. It has a lot of rooms/beds and is apparently too big to clean everyday. The sheets smell clean but have lots of wierd stains on them. The bathrooms are the truely funky place, definitely wear shower shoes since there is so much mold on the floor! At least the water was hot.

Nice, helpful and friendly staff. Close to the red line that takes to downtown: close to the beach, restaurants and shop, the Loyola University. The right place to stay at a very good price(if you don't find anything else better bit also more expensive).

The place is not good. It`s so far from Chicago Downtown and doesn`t seem safe. The holstel is so old. The room doors don`t have keys. Moreover, the rooms is not really clean. In conclusion, I didn`t like of this holstel.

I didn't plan to stay in a hostel at first this time..it was a suddent decision so basically I have no choice.. If you are considering price then this one will be good enough.. Close to CTA station..it is located near Loyala University campus so got a pretty quite neightborhood..but still try not to go out alone after 9pm.. Free wireless is a plus, but not in every room.. Bad noise block struckture so good luck for not having noisy floormate.. Bathroom is the worse..be prepared..

my family on several attempts had tried to prepay for 2 of the nights for myself and children but only one staff member could take care of it and after 2 weeks of trying they gave up. After calling ahead to tell them that we were arriving very late due to car problems - there was someone sleeping in our private room at 5 in the room which ended up being the wrong room - I had ordered the one with the private bath for myself and my two older children. Overall we enjoyed our trip to Chicago but

No fun activities, no alcohol allowed! It is about a 45 minute subway ride to downtown chicago!!! everybody can just walk in to the hostel their are no locks on the dorms!! I would recommend it to anyone!!!!

Had their bookings messed up, so I ended up in a different room. Friendly staff. Not close to downtown - at least 30 minutes by EL.

The place stinks, they are disorganized with the reservations and with the cars and the neighboohod is really bad, specially because in their side there is a beggar house. The only good aspect is that the metro is close.
