I would really like to get to know before I book if a property is not yet ready, does not have most of the facilities the website indicates and also not what you may expect at hostels normally, such as a kitchen for the inhabitants, etc. The room was so tiny that it may have nicely served one person, but it was for three of us. The person residing in the lower bunk bed weveral times during our stay hit himself hard just by trying to get out of that place again. The shower that wettens the

Location was excellent right in the middle of town. Room security good but you had to leave the reception building to access lift for rooms which was in another building next door. This building was open during the day time. Plenty for breakfast but basic, bread jam, cheese and meat and fruit. Shared showers were in same rooms and toilets, wet floors so take your flip flops. Overall good cheap place to stay in central Copenhagen.

We arrived at the hostel and it was overbooked, they sent us to another Danhostel and we had to walk over there and wait for some time to be able to check in. We were suppost to be 4 in the room but were put in a 8 bedded room. The staff did not care at all about us, the only thing they could say was I can´t do anything about it. They didn´t even try to help us, the worst hotel stay for me so far.

My stay there was quite terrible. first of all, I must say that it is the first time that I have stayed in a shared dorm room in a hostel with both girls and boys in the same room!!! we could immediately feel the very weird ambiance in the room for everyone who were used to normal unisex dormitories!!!! the girls were feeling very badly as we know how they usually like their privacy and intimity, and the boys were feeling weird also as they felt very uncomfortable to have to unwear in the room w

I had reserved a bed in a female dorm of 4 beds, what I got was a bed in an 8-bedded mixed dorm. When I complained the stuff said they don't even have 4-bedded dorms and that my dorm was still supposed to be a female dorm... Location is perfect, in heart of old town, just a few blocks away from the Ströget pedestrian street.

As previous comments have been made about the dorm rooms - i have also booked for a 4 bed female dorm but instead shared a 3 bed dorm with 2 guys. If there is no such room available then i don't think it will be hard for Danhostel to contact the Hostel website to rectify the mistake. Also there is only 3 showers on the floor i was staying shared between about 30 people and one of the showers has no doors so i assume they are still renovating the place. Location was good and that's about it - add

No luggage room, no hangers in the shower (i e all your clothes getting wet), 1 shower per corridor, no breakfast included (65 DKK for the simple one offered, please...) etc... Danhostel Copenhagen in general is a very poor and dirty place to be avoided by all means!

It's pretty new and clean, but unfinished...still under construction with workers starting drilling, hammering from early morning(7:30 AM) Breakfast is quite nice compared with other hostels offering just a humble mix of bread and coffee. Location...is okay, but the problem is not many locals are aware of the hostel, and the street where hostel is on...that must be a problem if you arrive around at night.

The hostel was very disorganized, not only did they get our booking wrong they gave us the wrong key card and number three times(these cards opened other travelers occupied rooms!). When we eventually got our room there where NO beds in it!! The manager was there each time I spoke to the receptionist but did not intervien until I requested to speak to him. He had a very lax attitude to the whole situation. I had to request the bill to be changed as we where being charged for an ensuite that wasn

There's not much to the rooms other than the beds and a chair. That's basically it. There are a few common showers for a floor and everyone seems to want to use them between 9 and 10. The place was fine if you plan on spending 10 minutes a day there outside of showering/getting ready for the day, but if you want to meet other people to go out with for the evening I would recommend elsewhere.
