Was very happy - it's an excellent location, our room was lovely - had a balcony overlooking a private courtyard, palatial bathroom, room and bathroom was cleaned everyday and beds made, and even had a clean change of towels after 3 days! Better service than I've had in some hotels! Would definitely recommend.

The hotelfachfrau was awesome and went out of her way to give us info on sights, transportation and told us where the grocery was.

Not a single hotel at all. Turns out the \\\'Dimora Serenissima\\\' is a bunch of rooms scattered throughout Venice. Some are close to San Marco while others were in the middle of nowhere. Travelers be aware. If you are just looking for a place to rest your head at night, it is sufficient but don\\\'t expect to be located near San Marco. Even for the price you pay for one night here, you could be sent to the middle of nowhere. The description of the place is deceiving.

very good location, nice room, excellent having a fridge and some coffee/tea and kettle for a quick breakfast. Also nice that check in office is near the station so we could leave the bags there all day on our last day. Not very suitable for older people, as room was on the third floor and no lift. No good for travellers on their own as no communal room and individual rooms rather than dormitories. Good for couples though.

After reading that the hostel is right across from the train station we were very happy because there are a lot of huge bridges with no ramps for luggage. However, this is only the OFFICE. We then had to go back over the bridge and over three more to the actual hostel. The room was very nice with a great view of a canal and was very clean.

GREAT location, room was VERY CLEAN, we liked. The plumbing in the bathoom: Shower head would not stay up, and flow rate in sink should be improved (just a slow dribble).
A bit of a walk from the check in office, but other than that it was a perfect location. Nice and clean too.
The reception office of this hostel is in a very good location. But after check-in, you might need 10 minutes walk to your rome. Others are good. Worth its price:)
