Exceptionally friendly, informative, and welcoming staff. Independently owned. Great breakfast deals at the bistro across the street. Great deal. Very close to center of nightlife as well as main historic sites.

A very nice location close to many of the sights-TV tower, Brandenburg Gate etc. Nondescript exterior but very cozy setting.

Matt, the owner, was absolutly amazing. He made us feel so welcome and really valued us as guests. He showed us what to do and took very good care of us. It was the best hostel we've ever stayed at!

Nice small hostel in good location with friendly informative staff. The kitchen could be bigger or it could do with a common area. No lockers for your stuff, but keys to your room. The reception is only open for a couple of hours a day so when you arrive you need to call or go to the cafe across the road and they will contact the owner who usually then gets to the hostel in around 10min.

It was a delight to stay at the Estener Hostel. The staff is super helpful and the location can't be beat. I will stay here agan when I am in Burlin.

A great little hostel. Don't expect it to be like some of the other giant chains. This is a quiet little place with a max of 30 or so guests. Great location, and great staff.... just make sure that you put an accurate arrival time as the reception is only staffed for about 8 hours a day (otherwise you have to call to have them let you in). Great, great place though!
