Had an excellent time at this hostel, we were on a hen weekend and were a little worried but the environment felt totally safe and we were made to feel soo welcome, would totally reccommend to all.

I had heard about the Flying Pig before I cam to Europe, and it was everything I had hoped for and more. Great location, cool atmosphere, everything you could want out of an Amsterdam hostel. I'd almost call it a smoker's mecca. My only complaint was that it was a bit crowded, but that's to be expected.

If you go to Amsterdam for the ganja, you will love the Flying Pig. Lobby is part smoking lounge, part bar. Be ready for ridiculously cramped rooms though, and beware of the queen sized two person bed. Though the bathrooms and rooms are more reminicent of crazy dorm experiences than of a working hotel, this was still a very fun place to stay

so if your all about smoking there then this place is for you, the minute you walk in your lungs are filled with weed smoke...cool for those whom go to europe to get wasted , you'll be indoors the whole time there then...the staff was very nice and the breakfast was very good for being included. Defnintely if you want sleep hope that you get a small room and on the thrid floor, you'll get your excercise hiking up the steep steps too.
