Nice place, nice staff, the only problem is that is very far from the Central Station. No lift, what is also a little problem for someone like me who was travelling with a very heavy bag and was located in the third floor. Very friendly staff and also very helpeful.

Flying Pig was a nice place to stay, as far as hostels go. I'm not a pot smoker, so when I smelled marijuana as soon as I walked in I was a little uncomfortable. However, the room itself was smoke-free and clean, and the friendly staff made me feel comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
Its a little far of a walk from downtown, but the tram saves you time. The beds were super comfy and new.

Terrible organization! We were five people and stayed for three days. We had booked 4 months ago and had to change our room every night. One person had to sleep alone all the time and one night we had slept in three different rooms!. We complained to the staff but anyone could do anything. Finally we wrote a formal complain and the manager gave us back the 20% of the amount for the inconveniences. We met two different groups of people which had the same problem. I´ll never come back again!
I know it's Amsterdam but there is no escape from the dope and ciggy smoke in this place! Even in the dorms on the 4th floor!
