The Staff is really friendly, the locations is not good around if you are thinking to walk around doesn't look to safe, but the advantage is that the Metro is crossing the street.

We really enjoyed our stay in Paris. Just across the street of the hostel is the metro station which makes it very easy to go anywhere. If you are a single woman travelling you might not feel so confident in this part of town with all the people wanting to sell lots of things. The staff is very nice, the beds are a bit old. If you are a picky person, go somewhere else. If you are a hostel person, you are right here. All in all it is a nice hostel for a city trip.

I read a lot of bad reviews about the hostel. I do not think they are true. The only downfall is the location. Meaning the shady people who hang out in that area trying to see you Marlboro's for a rather good price. I've stayed in better places in terms of location, but i also paid more. This is a perfect place if you are in Paris for a few days and want something cheap and clean.

Hello. My name is Declan and i stayed at Friends Hostel last weekend in Paris. I had a very goot time there. I found the staff very helpful and the location was fantastic as i could easily access teh metro and most of all the showers were perfect especially after a long day when i was very tired. We booked a room for 3 persons. But the first night we had to sleep in a room, in which were 5 persons. the hostel is next to the Metro (10meters away). Very friendly and helpful staff. All in all it was a good stay in the hostel.

Don't expect much more than a bed in the middle of Paris. The staff isn't that friendly and pretty disorganised (I had to wake up a guy who was sleeping in my bed cause he was given the wrong key).
