Find another hostel in Paris...there are plenty. Very uncomfortable beds and not too many cool people.

I was scared for my life. Dont pay for a night you can have on the street.

the rooms are far too cramped; this means that all bags need to be moved to storqge everyday for cleaning and the staff are not very helpful

Horrible area with men loitering on the streets at all hours of the night. Rude staff. Cold shower the first day, and they put us in a room with more beds than we had reserved, so we were sharing with more than we payed for.

Umm...this place was really dingy and set in a ghetto area of Paris. Very shady area and if you're a girl travelling alone, I wouldn't recommend staying around this area. I would never go back to this hostel.

was scared because of reviews...however very nice hostel for the most part. staff always cleaning and very friendly. the man even went as far as locking our room when we forgot to one day. have to leave luggage in a room for the day if you want it locked and dont trust someone, but didnt and everything was fine. overall great place to stay. metro is right across the street and the place was easy to find!

I agree that the bad comments are unwarranted. The staff can be rude, the the guests can be obnoxious, inciting rude staff. The location is a little rough but reasonably central. Sheets were provided and the hostel was hot dirty by hostel standards

We stayed here out of necessity, not choice. One word sums it up: yuck. Only stay here if it's your last resort (and trust me, we're not picky).
