Its a very nice hostel, the rooms are ok and it was a nice time!! But there are too many old people with children!! But i think in summer its better!

good times... i was there for the berlinale and the Generator hostel was great for that purpose. Lots of young people to drink with, easy access to the U-bahn and no more or less stuff in the room than what you needed.... i liked it a lot.

Even though the enviroment of Generation is pretty much ´´business-like´´ (there wasnt the cozy informality of most hostels) it was pretty nice and interesting. there isn´t much to change. maybe only not having all your crew as short-haired blondies (dunno, feels alil skin-head) and maybe adding the option of ´´free pasta-spices-etc in the kitchen, buy the sauce in the bar´´ or something of the kind... good for after-party hunger

This is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. In some ways like a hotel. Rooms were very clean as well as the bathrooms. Right next to the metro. From the hostel you can hop on a free tour of Berlin in the morning and a pub crawl at night (12 euro) which was well worth it. Cheap internet and food available as well. Would definitely stay here again.

the hostel is situeted in a well conected place by tram and s-bahn from here to city center.I think that room is quite narrow and bath is quite small to.
