Several passes have to be changed or repared, mine was opening the door every other day and 2 people were in the same situation.

Hostel is located in very old building, so it don't look very clean. In fact stuff cleans it properly every day. Great idea with open patio, helps to get know people. At all, great place :)

Cleanliness is an issue - the hostel would benefit from some modernization in regards to equipment (pillows, blankets, ...) as well as rooms (carpets, some issues with mold in bathrooms) nevertheless a good place to stay.

If I come back to Toronto I'll definetely stay there again, the bar outside is just awesome, staff and travellers were fun and had a lot of tips where to go and where to party! only the kitchen could have been better equipped. all in all a great experience!
