The staff at Gothic Point are incredible and organize really fun and wild nights. And Gothic is in a great location and a great place to meet all kinds of people. BUT, the large dorms are the worst. People are disrespectful so if you go, ask for a smaller room.

This place is awesome! It is only a 30 second walk from the ¨¨Jaume¨¨ metro stop and is in a cool part of town. they serve a good breakfast and everyone here (staff and other backpackers) is really friendly and cool. I definitely recommend this place!

Several of the staff members went out their way to be helpful, even taking time to learn my name and greeting me when we met on a Barcelona street (Rafael). The scheduled activities were terrific, because they allowed you to make new friends in Barcelona, especially useful when traveling alone. I honestly plan to keep in touch with several of the other hostel guests and have already begun to e-mail them. The Gothic Point facility brought you together to feel like family. I had a blast--not much sleep (a 24-hour facility keeps that from happening)--but it was worth losing some sleep.

I had a great time at Gothic point hostel. My only regret is that I wasn't able to spend longer there as it was fully booked for the rest of my trip. I'd recommend booking a good few weeks in advance.

I can´t recommend this hostel enough - if you´re coming to Barcelona and are staying in a hostel, make sure it´s this one. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly - they know about the city, they teach you Spanish, or they just chat to you and make you feel at home. There are large lockers in the corridors for your big bags, and smaller lockers by each bed for secure storage of smaller luggage. I found the bedrooms and communal areas to be always neat, tidy and clean too. In terms of fun, the hostel has a really sweet, chilled out atmosphere. You can make friends very easily and there are plenty of activities organized by the hostel that you can join in with. The hostel looks great too - it´s not very big, but there are city maps everywhere, an internet room, lift and colourful murals. I loved it here, and I think you will too !
