Some staff were really lovely, especially around Christmas Eve. I just don't like not having a key to the room, anybody in the hostel can go in.

All in all a good place to stay, central to most of the attractions. Good knowledgeable staff. Only drawback is that it could get rather noisy during the early hours of the morning.

The location was great, although original directions are a little vague. They don't supply a top sheet or blanket, so remember to bring your own. Most of the staff was friendly, and the rooms were very manageable for 14 (with two bathrooms)...

The place was great, very colorful and homely. Staff are helpful and the privacy of the beds is a plus. Location is incredible, just a short walk to loads of main tourist attractions. Reccomend going before Christmas as there are loads of little x-mas markets with traditional catalunyan santa claus!

A really nice place to meet other people, great breakfast, and free internet use!! Although I didn't get the room I paid for ( I paid for a 6 person female dorm and was in a 12 person mixed), the door to the room was never locked and neither was the door to the street anyone could have just walked in, and the showers were a little dirty.

I felt that the staff were very unhelpful and unfriendly. Security was extremely lax.

A BIG thanks must go to Louie (on Thurs/Fri/Sat night shift) and all the other staff who made our stay so enojoyable! My friend and I cant rate them highly enough! Always helpful, friendly and all full of character! Only comment I do have was the heat in the rooms at night - it was rather warm at times! The location was amazing too - such an amazingly beautiful spot, and only 5 minute walk to La Rambla so VERY central! Otherwise for young, fun and happy travellers - this is THE PLACE to stay! :)

One of the nicest hostels I stayed at. Staff were very friendly, and people staying there were the best. My only complaint is that bathroom was sometimes not very clean. But, I would definetly go back there should I be back in Barcelona.
