I thought this was a great experience. Staff was very friendly, and they do try to integrate people. Bathrooms were very clean, and thats all i could ask for.
We loved the place. If you want to have good time on San Francisco, stay at Green Tortoise.

I really enjoyed staying there!!! The staff is really helpful and nice. The hostel is really clean and safe. Besides that, the dinner they serve on Fridays and Tuesdays is delicious!
Very warm surroundings. Group activites a plus. In a city that closes relatively early it was nice to be in a part of town that seemingly never sleeps. A+ all around!

Great place! The location is fantastic and it's set up to be a really social place. Huge common areas and lots of options to do planned things with other hostel guests, which can work out really well if you're traveling alone

This place has just been awesome...We stayed in the double privates and that was like staying in a hotel. All staff members are really helpfull and try and help you as much as they can. I will and would total recommend this place to people. Thanx for making us feel right at home, keep up the great work and should i ever return to San Fran i will be sure to come back to your hostel for sure.
