Very good, and at the moment is my favorite American hostel

Very nice and recommandable. The roomas are very small and that's why the hostel feels like overcrowded. Suprisingly clean, also the kitchen area. Expensive internet, if you don't have your own notebook (wireless for free). If I come to Boston again, I will stay here.

I didn't know that there is five dollars more per night since I am not a member of the hostel. Other than that, everything is fine.

The hostel has a really good location; it's only a few minutes away from the subway, and it's close to a lot of shops. It was actually on the right subway line for everything I wanted (museums, shopping) which worked out well for me, but it was also close enough to walk. Good showers, too! My only complaint would be the breakfast, which was essentially a bagel, a muffin or an apple, and coffee/tea. I don't drink coffee or tea, and I don't like bready things too much, but as the breakfast is free anyway it's not like it's that big of a problem.

HI Boston Downtown is really a good hostel for young . The location is aplenty well near by MIT and Hynes station. The price is suitable for youngs . Maybe you can have discount for long stay visitors. And when I stay here, I meet the fire event . The Stuff take more on the visitors and have correct processing on it . I appreciated HI Boston Downtown . Stanley Hung @ Boston.

They were very friendly and helpful. The hostel itself was very clean and felt safe. I really liked how they did not charge for extra incidentals. For example, they gave you a brand new pair of shower shoes and clean linens.

Hostel run tours by staff were a nice intro to Boston. A bit less ranting (or at least less loud) by the manager (?) mid-morning would have been appropriate. Make sure you check out the 'Otherside Cafe' nearby.
