Maybe organizing more special events, providing people staying here with chances to know each other and travel together.

rooms are starting to look a bit run down, e.g the carpets, coffee was advertised as being 24 hours, but often none left

I was very impressed with the HI Boston Downtown. The staff was excellent; friendly, helpful, and informative. They did their tasks with great fluidity and flexibiltiy. These qualities are of great value in the hospitality business. When I consider the amount of visitors, cultures and age ranges I observed during my stay; this hostel is a 5 star in terms of organization, maintainance and staff. I enjoyed a group trip to the Fine Arts Museum. My event companions were from Belgium and South Korea. I enjoyed the opportunity to learn about these young people and their personal world views.

This is a very good place for young travellers to live in in Boston. I have a very good impression on this series of hostel. I pay the price of hostel, but I am treated like in a hotel. If possible, I would like to choose this series of hostels in my future travels.

This may be one of the best hostels in the USA. Free jandles (flip flops) and wi-fi in the galley. Very busy, but is super close to the T (don't take a cab from the airport like I did ... use the subway system to get everywhere). Good times and close to food, clubs and everything else Boston has to offer.

A pleasant surprise for an HI hostel (which haven't been great in my European experience with them). The place was clean and the free tea/coffee all day was very welcome given the cold weather.

The hostel is extremely clean and thoughtful in many ways (provide slipper, soap, shampoo, big locker) but it is little bit pricey compared with other hostel.
